Most of our work is large: houses built from the ground up and homes renovated end to end. We still take on single rooms, and we build them with the same crew and the same care.
New homes and rebuilds on your lot. We work with your architect or bring our own designers and engineers, then manage permits, site work, framing, trades and finishes through to final inspection.
Gut and whole-house renovations for homes that need more than new paint. New layouts, structural changes, kitchens, bathrooms, floors, stairs, trim and lighting, built as one project on one schedule.
Rear extensions, second-storey additions and garage conversions, with structural drawings and permits.
Cabinetry, quartz and stone counters, islands, backsplashes, lighting and appliance installation.
Master baths, ensuites and powder rooms: walk-in showers, frameless glass, tile, vanities and tubs.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, rec rooms and in-law suites, framed, insulated and finished to code.
Commercial and industrial
For businesses, ZAFCON is your general contractor. One contract covers the drawings, permits, trades, inspections and turnover, so you deal with one company from signed lease to opening day.
Dental offices, medical clinics and treatment rooms built around your equipment, layout and code requirements. We coordinate with your designer, your equipment supplier and the landlord.
New restaurants and renovations: kitchen and service areas, dining rooms, bars and washrooms, built to code and coordinated with your kitchen equipment supplier.
Office fit-outs and renovations: partitions, ceilings, flooring, lighting, boardrooms and kitchenettes.
Storefronts, retail interiors and showrooms, scheduled around your opening date.

How a project runs
The same people who price your project design it, get it permitted and build it. You always know who to call.
We come to the house, listen, measure and send you a written estimate. The estimate is free.
Layouts, finish selections and engineered drawings. We apply for building permits wherever the work needs them.
Your project manager runs the schedule and the trades, keeps the site clean and updates you at each stage.
We walk the finished work with you, close out the punch list and back the job with our warranty.
We review the space, your drawings and the landlord’s requirements, then send a written budget and schedule.
We coordinate design, engineering and landlord approval, and apply for the building permit.
A site supervisor runs the trades and inspections and keeps the work on schedule for your opening.
Final inspections, deficiencies closed and our warranty, so you can move in and open.
